Run Ticket Routing on Discord Bot — AI Agent
For game studios and apps that take player reports through Discord: an agent that sorts each /report and bug-forum post into bugs, payments, account access or abuse, then files it with the team that owns it.
38 reports since the 1.12 patch. 31 filed. One of them:

“Bought 1,200 Shards on Steam, charge went through, balance still 40. Order 7Q3-XX91. Screenshot attached.”
Agent draft · in your tone
Thanks, kettlebreaker. This is with our billing team as ticket ZD-58213, and they'll reply by email. Please don't post your order details in public channels; we've got what we need.
How do you route support tickets that come in through Discord?
Give a Discord bot a /report command or a bug-reports forum, and let the agent triage what lands there.
- 01
Trigger fires
For each report it reads the text and screenshots, decides whether it's a bug, a payment problem, an account lockout or a player-conduct report, and sets a matching forum tag.
- 02
Classify the report as bug, payment, account or conduct
It files the report in the helpdesk group that owns that category with the player's username, platform and post link, and posts a short acknowledgement in the thread.
- 03
Tag the forum post and file it with the owning group
When several players report the same error inside a few minutes, it groups them into one incident and pings the on-call role.
- 04
Group matching errors into one incident
Conduct reports go to moderators privately.

Anything under your confidence bar waits for a human.
How you tell it what to do
Built in plain English.
You write the rule the way you'd describe it to a teammate. The agent reads the rule, breaks it into the actions it'll take, and confirms the apps it'll touch — before it does anything.
- 1Classify the report as bug, payment, account or conduct
- 2Tag the forum post and file it with the owning group
- 3Group matching errors into one incident
- 4Send conduct reports to moderators privately

6 players on EU servers reported 'E-4012 session lost' in 4 minutes. Incident ticket drafted; @live-ops not paged yet.
Describes a duplication glitch and accuses a named player of using it. Could be QA or conduct; holding for a person.
Player says they are 12 and their parent's card was charged. Not filed to billing until someone decides how to handle it.
Human in the loop
Approve before it sends.
Every draft lands in a review queue. You approve, edit, or reject — the agent never acts on its own unless you explicitly turn that on for a workflow you trust.
Governance
Every action, with the reasoning attached.
Each step the agent takes is logged with what it did, why it did it, and which app it touched. Audit-ready, so security and compliance can sign off without backfilling.
- Agent8:07 PM
Filed ZD-58213 in Billing · Steam and replied in the /report thread.
- Agent8:06 PM
Held paging @live-ops for error E-4012.
Reason: Six matching reports in four minutes crosses the threshold, but all are from one EU region and the status page shows maintenance there.
- Agent8:05 PM
Sent conduct report on player 'wraithline' to the private #mod-queue channel; no public reply.
- Agent8:04 PM
Tagged #bug-reports post 7702 'ui' and 'patch-1.12', filed ZD-58209 to QA.
- Oskar7:58 PM
Moved ZD-58190 from QA to Billing after the player replied.
How it works
Get started in three steps
Step 01
Connect the bot and your helpdesk
Add the bot with permission to read #bug-reports, handle your /report command and post in #mod-queue, and connect Zendesk with the groups it can assign.
Step 02
Write the routing rules
Describe each category and its owning group, what counts as high priority, how many matching reports mean an incident, and what moderators handle alone.
Step 03
Decide the borderline ones
Clear-cut reports are filed and acknowledged in seconds. Possible outages, mixed reports and anything involving a minor wait in the queue.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do players need to use a slash command?
No. The agent can read posts in a forum channel like #bug-reports as well as a /report command. A command gives you cleaner input, since you can ask for platform and order number as fields; a forum is easier for players. Many servers run both and the agent treats them the same way.
How does it tell a bug from a payment problem?
From the report text, any screenshot, and the context you give it: your store names, currency names, error codes and known issues. A missing purchase with an order number goes to billing; a crash with an error code goes to QA. When a post mixes both, it asks a person.
What does it do with reports about other players?
It never answers them in public. Conduct reports, including cheating and harassment, are posted to a private moderator channel with the evidence and links, and a /report reporter gets an ephemeral reply that only they can see. Bans stay with your moderators; the agent doesn't ban anyone.
Can it spot an outage before we do?
It groups reports that share an error code, region or symptom within a time window you set. Past that threshold it drafts an incident ticket and pings your live-ops role, unless something like scheduled maintenance explains it, in which case it waits for a person.
Does it work with a helpdesk other than Zendesk?
Yes. The routing happens in the agent, so it can file into Freshdesk, Intercom, Jira Service Management or a Linear team instead. Tell it which group or project maps to each category, and it keeps the Discord post link on every ticket it creates.
